There is an interesting and somewhat troubling case currently being considered within the NHS. A Christian occupational therapist, Victoria Wasteney, prayed for and witnessed to a Muslim colleague with their consent (as she understood it). Subsequently the colleague made a complaint and Ms Wasteney has been disciplined.
The Christian Concern website contains more information. Do have a read. It is a case which ought to lead us to prayer. Pray too for the Christian Legal Centre and Paul Diamond who will represent her in her appeal. And let’s pray that our freedoms to live, worship and witness as followers of Christ would be maintained in this country.
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Tim 2)
