What We Do
Our Sunday Services 10am at Morley Memorial School Our Sunday morning service allows the whole church family to gather together for corporate praise, prayer and learning. This includes Rock Bible Club for children aged 2-14, and a sermon for the adults. There is also a crèche for under-2s available throughout the service. The meeting is followed by refreshments.
6pm at Morley Memorial School Our Sunday evening programme complements our morning services and home groups. The service lasts an hour and usually includes a time of corporate praise and prayer, followed by biblical teaching. The final 10 minutes is an interactive time for questions and discussion on what has been heard. The meeting is followed by refreshments. We also have guest events on a regular basis, designed to be especially suitable for those who aren't Christians - these usually take place at 7pm.

Home Groups Wednesday & Thursday evenings in different homes throughout the city. Home groups provide an invaluable opportunity to meet regularly in a smaller group of people. This allows us to get to know each other better, support and pray for each other, and learn from the Bible together. They are an essential part of our life together as a church. Please see Alice Jackson (a_jack2012@hotmail.com) about joining a group.
Japanese Ministry Cambridge is internationally famous for its academic institutions and so we can meet people from different parts of the world in Cambridge. The city boasts a significant and growing Japanese presence: people either studying or working at the University or in Cambridge to improve their English at one of the many language schools in the city.
At Rock we have been blessed by having people that help those from Japan settle in Cambridge as well as getting them to hear and understand the message of the Christian faith.

Working with the Elderly We all appear to be living longer and so Cambridge boasts a large population of elderly people. At Rock Baptist, we work with the elderly by regular visiting some of the residential homes in the city as well as hosting Diamonds Café which allows elderly people a time to get together with tea and cakes, games, crafts, occasional talks and a "Thought for the Day" slot.
